In response to the group's powertrain strategy of "large-scale collaboration and independence," Thunder Power Technology Company has established a "Battery Pack (PACK) line." Over the past 10 years, Dongfeng Liuzhou motor's self-manufactured powertrain business has evolved from nothing to something, and from something to excellence. With this, Dongfeng Liuzhou motor's self-manufactured powertrain business officially enters the new energy product market, marking a new chapter for Thunder Power.
The battery pack PACK production line at Dongfeng Liuzhou motor occupies an area of approximately 1,000 square meters and includes the PACK main line and the charging and discharging test area. It is equipped with automated equipment such as dual-component automatic glue dispensers and automatic battery cell sorting machines. The entire line uses imported brand wireless electric wrenches, which have a high level of error-proofing and can achieve quality traceability throughout the product lifecycle. The production line is highly flexible and can accommodate the production of various CTP battery packs.
Looking ahead, Thunder Power's battery pack PACK line will greatly address the issue of delayed response to battery pack resources, effectively reducing the pre-storage quantity of battery pack resources, lowering capital occupation and backlog, and ensuring that the supply of battery packs aligns with vehicle demand in real-time.
In 2025, Thunder Power will actively explore trends in the new energy sector, integrate upstream and downstream resources in the powertrain supply chain, and provide customers with more competitive powertrain solutions, achieving leapfrog development for Dongfeng Liuzhou motor's powertrain business.
